We recently had the opportunity to try out Domino’s gluten-free pizza and we have to say, we were pleasantly surprised. First off, let’s talk about the crust. It was thin and crispy, just the way we like it. And unlike many gluten-free crusts out there, it actually had some flavor. It wasn’t just a bland vehicle for the toppings. Speaking of toppings, we went with a classic pepperoni and mushroom combo. The pepperoni was crispy and salty, just the way it should be. And the mushrooms were fresh and hearty. But what really stood out to us was the tomato sauce. It had a nice tanginess to it that complemented the flavors of the toppings and the crust. It was also the perfect amount - not too much that it made the pizza soggy, but enough to give each bite a nice balance of flavors. Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room - cross-contamination. While we can’t speak for every Domino’s location, we did call ahead to our local spot and they assured us they would take all necessary precautions to avoid cross-contamination. And based on how we felt after eating the pizza, we’re inclined to believe them. Overall, we’re very happy with our experience with Domino’s gluten-free pizza. It’s always great to have more options for gluten-free dining, and we think this pizza is a solid choice. If you’re looking for a gluten-free pizza option that actually has some flavor and won’t leave you feeling disappointed, we highly recommend giving Domino’s a try.
